so, i swear it's not cause i'm lazy or anything, but for the second week straight there are just no cup signs. maybe people are just super busy cause its coming to the end of the semester, but either way,  i don't have anything to say. maybe this would be a good time to think about what i would say if i were to make a cup sign. i'm not sure. i think i would try to do something funny. yeah, it's cool to do something that makes people think, but i think there's enough of that. i wouldn't do anything offensive or provacitive  cause once again, i don't think we need much more of that. i like making people laugh, so i think that's what i would do. but what would i say? well, maybe i would have to just limit myself and do something that only a target audience would find funny. what would you do?

no cups?

what has the world come to? there were no cup signs anywhere this week. ok, there were, but they were old ones or they had already had a bunch of cups taken so the message was very distorted. oh well, i guess i can't always expect it, plus with nasty weather all week i guess it's understandable. maybe this week someone out there will leave a good one.

k, what's with all the love? i love ben, john love mandy, joany loves chachi... i mean i'm not complaining, cause i love love, it's a great thing and the world needs more of it, but seriously, on one bridge i saw four... yeah, four, love declarations in cups. maybe it's just that one bridge, i dunno, but i thought it was kinda funny. anyway, that's all i saw this week.

happy birthdays

so i have seen a bunch of cup signs wishing folks happy birthday. pretty cool, birthdays are always great, but i don't remember march ever being the big birthday month... always seems like august and september, and some october, but oh well. anyway, it reminds me of some of my best birthdays... i'll share one quick, it was my 17th. i ditched first period to go to breakfast with like 9 friends, and while i was there my friend sSam asked what i had second period. i was a teachers aid, and so was he, and we both didn't have a 3rd period, and our 4th was practice (which both of us had finished our seasons just then). soooo, we both we're like "well, guess we're not goin' to school today..." yeah that was a great day.

i thought this was great because next to his name he put a canadian maple leaf. i can only assume that he is indeed from canada hahaha but more, i just thought that it was cool that someone put the time in to create a maple leaf in a chain link fence with some red plastic cups. i would love some day to see somebody try to do a full on mural with cups (that would be great).

precious, they must be in love hahahaha well, who am i to make fun of this, and really i am not making fun of this because if i had that many cups at my disposal and would get up way early and guarantee that she would see it on the way to work the next day, i would actually probably totally do the same thing for my girlfriend (yeah so it's totally cheesy, but most girls love cheese - admit it, you do). so yeah, hopefully he'll score some mega points off of that one.

Welcome Home

I was driving home late the other night and extremely tired, to the point where i was starting to almost fall asleep at the wheel. anyway, very surprisingly through my dimmed headlights and crusty windshield from the salty roads i managed to read an overpass that read "welcome home."yeah, only thing was, i was still 20 minutes from home...

Love

Well, pretty typical. it being Valentine's Day last Monday there were a few "love" signs. they were all your typical two peoples' initials with a heart in the middle. nice and simple, does the job. as common as that is it definately was the most fitting for the week, but especially the day. it makes me wonder what it would be like if you were the recipient of such a thing. i've never had someone write a message to me in cups, and tons can see it. it sounds like it would be pretty cool. i'd kinda like to know how it feels (probably great)

second round

 many cups were in the fence on the bridge for this one. i have a lot of question for it, cause all it said was "secondround" with like five exclamation points. second round of what? ok, first obvious guess is the playoffs. but which ones? the super bowl already happened, and march madness has not started. i would guess that it must be high school related, perhaps basketball? maybe they are talking about something else completely different, like some sort of inside joke of sorts. anyway, whoever you are mystery messeger, i'd like to know who made the second round, or what we are in the second round of (if anything).

free cups

of course, someone actually did it. most of the time when i see these signs, they're made from cups just stuck through the chain link fence. well, quite cleverly (or so i'm sure they thought) somebody had put up a sign that simply said "free cups." yes, they used cups. pretty self explanitory. not the most creative sign, at least not to me. really, at least put something cool. ok, i guess that's pretty harsh. it was kind of funny.

Wingman

yeah, i was a bit surprised to see this one. cause really, who puts "Wingman" all huge so everyone to see? and maybe it's just me, but i don't really see much glory in being a wingman. i'll be honest here, i'm not so certain as to what a wingman really does, but as far as i understand, he's the guy with one of his homies out trying to get chicks, but he's the guy that doesn't get the girl; he's just there to make the main man look good. somebody correct me if i am wrong. i know that we have all see those Dos Equis commercials, yeah, the ones with "The Most Interesting Man in the World." well, h said of wingmen this: "It does not take more than one man to talk to a woman." well said World's Most Interesting Man. that's what i think too.

Dirty

The other day i was driving up to Morgan to go see my friend. I hadn't been driving more than five minutes when i saw this message on a bridge that i always drive under. It read "dirty." That was it, just one words. So of course i think "well, what's dirty?" Is this some person making a complaint about the air quality of Utah during winter? Maybe they think we should clean the streets up more? Well what does that even entail? yeah, my mind could go on and on. Really though in all honesty, I thought, "well who's dirty? Is it you my friend who is dirty? well then why are you so crusty? Just take a dang shower." I dunno, maybe this night prowling sign maker was just describing somebody else that he or she knew. Or maybe it was just to be funny. I'm gonna go with that: Just trying to get a laugh.
