We've all seen messages left on bridges over roads and freeways on our commute, but have we ever put much thought into the thoughts, feelings, deep meaning or even just the effort behind them? It may sound silly but I will take you on an adventures of the messages I see overhead while on my daily commutes and the thoughts I have.

free cups
of course, someone actually did it. most of the time when i see these signs, they're made from cups just stuck through the chain link fence. well, quite cleverly (or so i'm sure they thought) somebody had put up a sign that simply said "free cups." yes, they used cups. pretty self explanitory. not the most creative sign, at least not to me. really, at least put something cool. ok, i guess that's pretty harsh. it was kind of funny.

If I were to have come by that I probably would have laughed pretty hard at the irony of the situation. I find simple forms of expression such as that to be quite entertaining, such as a person nailing a sign to a shoe tree saying free shoes. But I guess that I am just one of those people that gets an easy laugh from silly things like that.
